2007 raid



On October 15 2007 Police raided a army camp, They Arrested 18 people, they were all linked to a weapon training camp near the Bay of Plenty. The police also raided other activists groups that they were surveilling, The trial was on february 2012, only 4 of the activists were taken to court, 2 of the activast were pronounced guilty for nine months, The other two activists had a much larger sentence which was two and a half years. A few years later, the Police conduct authority had found out that the police had frightened and intimidated people unnecessarily, in 2014 police commissioner Mike Bush apologised for the mistakes made in the raid.
